Presenting an exquisite mid-20th century Mikimoto Pearl necklace, circa 1950, in its original box. The necklace features a single strand of Japanese Akoya cultured pearls, numbering 98 and ranging from 3.5 mm to a central 8 mm pearl.
Fastened with a silver and pearl clasp bearing the Mikimoto trademark, this necklace elegantly rests at a classic princess length of 18 inches. Stamped "S" for sterling silver and adorned with Mikimoto's iconic "M" in a clamshell frame on the reverse of the clasp.
